Minecraft PE 1.16.210.59

Dear MCPE players, you probably noticed that the beta released last week, that is Minecraft PE 1.16.210.58, didn’t bring any new features and we all started missing them already. Today, in Minecraft PE 1.16.210.59, the MCPE developers made it up for us by introducing two cool new features in addition to the traditional fixes.

We will tell you everything about the carried out fixes, but first, we are sure you are curious to find out about the new experimental features. These are:

• A new mob called the Glow Squid. The MCPE developers did not have enough time to make it generate in a natural way, but for now, you can obtain it using spawn eggs. Upon death, this squid drops glow ink sacs that will be very useful in relation to the next new feature and to make sign texts glow in the dark. By the way, if you want to remove this glowing effect, just use an ordinary ink sac.
  
  
  
  
• The Glow Item Frame. To craft it, use the drop from the previously-described mob and an ordinary item frame. Any item placed in such a frame will glow in the dark.
  

Other two good news is that sign texts can be dyed now and that RTX-enrolled players who already enjoy Ray Tracing that was introduced in Minecraft PE 1.16.200 will regularly receive updates related to this feature, so stay tuned.
And now, let’s talk about the bugfixes:

• More bugs continuing to affect the screen reader option were fixed, this time not letting it announce some specific button names properly
  
• Resolved the problem of the MCPE world crashing when the player exits the game, when playing on dedicated servers near villages and when trying to play in specific Marketplace-purchased worlds.
  
• Removed a bug affecting the characters of command blocks
  
• Resolved an issue preventing users from resuming their mining with touch control
  
• Fixed a bug that used to unlock a trophy when crafting a bed
  
• Corrected the work of the Skin Preview navigator
  
• Fixed a bug affecting the arrow flight when attacking players with high latency with them
  
• Corrected the overlapping template tabs in the Create New menu
  
• Added the missing Marketplace Inventory Incompatible button
  
• Made the patch notes show only once
  
• Fixed a number of interface-related bugs occurring when scrolling store filters and when clearing them
  
• Corrected the graphics of the Nether fog
  
• Resolved an issue preventing Xbox players sync their worlds with the cloud
  
• Resolved a big number of technical issues affecting the animating structures process, attachable items, and more
  
• Added protection for the Bedrock dedicated server for the server side and correction and verification of data Unconnected Pong packet data for the clients’ side.
